Carrier

Today, NEC also introduced the Carrier Solution as one of the solutions for service provider. The Carrier Solution supports total telecommunication networks from fixed to cellular and access to core network as well as services application. It also offers highly reliable carrier-class IP (Internet Protocol) network. This Carrier Solution is achieved through the combination of NEC's long-accumulated capabilities in networking, software, LSIs and IP/ATM technologies.

The Carrier Solution consists of following solutions.

IDC solution --- an internet data center system to enhance e-business
EDI solution --- offering electronic data interchange system for B2B e-commerce back office.
VoIP solution --- a harmonized solution offering the advantages of IP network. This is the most suitable solution for the telecom carrier's next generation network, of which current network infrastructure is mainly for Voice/telephone communication.
