Network projectors supported under Windows Vista

The projectors support the Windows Network Projector function, which is one of the brand-new features introduced with Windows Vista. You can make presentations from your PC via the network without connecting with an RGB cable, if your PC is running Windows Vista. You don't need to install any proprietary software on your PC. Like using a networked printer, you can simply select which projector to use from the list on your PC screen. Furthermore, it is possible to remotely operate a PC installed some distance away from the projector via the network by using Windows Remote Desktop function.

Picture-in-Picture and Side-by-Side function for projecting two screens

Project two images simultaneously from a single projector. With picture-inpicture, a sub picture can be displayed either at the top-left, the top-right, the bottom-left, or the bottom right in the main picture. (The picture size is fixed.) With the Side-by-side function, display the main picture as fixed on the left side of the screen; it is impossible to exchange content between the main and sub pictures. * Signals input through the Computer 1 or Computer 2 terminal can be projected as the main picture only. Signals input through the Video or S-Video terminal can be projected as the sub picture only.

Closed Caption

If the closed caption signals are included in the video signals or the S-Video signals, the audio data can be displayed on screen as captions.

Remote Mouse Operation

You can use the supplied wireless remote control and the supplied remote mouse receiver to control your PC from across the room. The supplied remote mouse receiver supports almost any PC with a USB connection.

Multi-Screen Compensation Function

When multiple projectors are aligned to project images simultaneously, it is possible to adjust the brightness, contrast, and tone of the respective projectors by setting one of them as the standard unit, so that images projected from the respective projectors appear more equal and uniform.

DICOM Simulation Mode

Since the projector is equipped with the DICOM SIM. mode, it can project images with the quality settings approximating the DICOM standards currently used in the medical industry. * DICOM SIM. on this projector is a setting for adjusting images to approximate the DICOM standards and may not project images properly. Therefore, DICOM SIM. must be used for educational purposes only and should not be used for actual medical diagnosis. * “DICOM” of “DICOM SIM.” is the name for global standards used in saving and communicating images for medical use. This standard is applicable to a variety of different medical examinations, such as the computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and the endoscopy

Multiple input/output terminals

The HDMI connector and terminals for analog RGB, video, and S-Video are available in the standard configuration. Reproduce more vivid images by using the HDMI connector to connect the projector to a PC or a digital broadcast tuner. Furthermore, the 5W monaural speaker is built in to provide audiovisual conditions with high image and audio qualities.
