The NEC Express5800/120Eh features up to two Dual-Core Intel Xeon Processor 5160,5130, or 5110. The dual - core processors deliver more computing capabilities than single - core processors, improving overall system performance and business productivity.
The 120Eh supports up to 24Gb(4GBx6) DDR2-667 Fully Buffered DIMM memory wiht ECC, Chipkill , and on-line sparing capabilities. The Fully Buffered DIMM technology uses serial memory interface, allowing the system to increase data throughput and the maximum number of DIMMs per channel. The memory sparing is supported as standard to further improve memory reliability.
To provide high-performance internal storage, the NEC Express5800/120Eh supports Serial Attached SCSI(SAS), with a maximum capacity of 1.2TB(300GBx4). The 120Eh also provides Serial ATA2 disk drive models, offering up to 2 TB(500GBx4). Both the SAS and SATA2 models allow RAID 0 and 1 as standardandRAID 5 as option.
Along with two PCI-X-PCI expansion slots (one 64bit/100MHz PCI - X and one 32bit/33MHz PCI), the NEC Express5800/120Eh comes standard with three PCI EXPRESS slots (x8, x4, and x1).
To enhance RAS (Reliability,Availability and Serviceability) functionality, the 120Eh comes standard with the EXPRESSCOPE Engine. This feature allows the user to monitor the operating status of a mamaged server via a web browser from a remote site and to operate the managed server's KVM (Keyboard , Video , and Mouse) via LAN from a remote console.
Bundled for easy system mandgement, NEC ESMPRO monnitors and controls system operation from the remote console, and assists the administrator in troubleshooting the system. For simple system installation, NEC EXPRESSBULIDER is attached as an installation support tool.
