TM-101

The TM-3000 Series platform is a carrier-grade optical networking solution allowing transparent transport of any service at 100Mbit/s to 10Gbit/s for metropolitan, regional and long haul applications.

This solution supports any type of network within the metro WDM environment, including:

The cornerstone of the TM Series is a unique system architecture that includes CWDM, DWDM and SDH/SONET transmission solutions within a single system.

Features

  • Three types of chassis: High-capacity central office, medium-capacity central office and single ?CPE
  • Two types of passive unit: CWDM and DWDM allow modular expansion for capacity growth
  • Tunable transponders/muxponders: Minimal spare part costs
  • Pluggable transponders/muxponders: A flexible combination of CWDM, DWDM and reconfigurable HW solutions

Benefits

  • Modular, flexible and incrementally expandable from access to medium-haul
  • Cost-effective solutions via seamless integration of DWDM and CWDM
  • Layers 1 and 2 combine in a single platform
  • Low power consumption (< 700W ) and small footprint
  • Embedded management channels reduce costs and simplify DCN setup
  • Carrier-class FCAPS
  • Multi-service support (Ethernet, SAN, SDH/SONET, OTN, DVB-ASI, DVB-SDI)
  • Manageable via embedded node manager (ENM) or Transmode network manager (TNM)
  • The flexibility of stand-alone, combined single-fiber or fiber-pair configuration
